HP Color LaserJet 2500 Laser Toner Cartridges
The HP Color LaserJet 2500 was released around the last quarter of 2002. Its built and design sports a typical look for a laser printer, with curves around the edges and at its front, coated in a two-tone white-grayish color. Consider it as a desktop printer though it??s a bit tall. Out-of-box it doesn??t include any networking interface, however. Users have the option to get an Ethernet NIC for additional cost just to let the machine support network connectivity. Otherwise, the USB and Parallel ports will do for wired setup. The only snag with it is that, the unit is annoyingly noisy when printing.
Its price is reasonable, not too low neither not too expensive for what it??s capable of. The HP Color LaserJet 2500 comes with a rated print speed of up to 16 pages per minute in mono and 4 ppm in color. Whether you use it for monochrome or colored documents, the result can be excellent utmost. Media handling is limited to a single 250-sheet standard input tray with no optional trays for future upgrades. It requires four low-cost HP toners comprising the 121A color toner cartridges, plus the HP C9704A drum unit which can yield up to 20,000 pages. Its control panel only features LED indicators and buttons from which one of them is dedicated to rotate and access the cartridge slots.
